Join us at The Academy, an independent school in Berkeley, on Sunday, May 4 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a mathematics festival sponsored by Julia Robinson Mathematics Festival. The festival will feature dozens of exciting math activities designed to inspire, delight and challenge young mathematicians!
- Who: 5th-8th grade students and their parents. All welcome.
- When: Sunday, May 4, 2014, 1-4 p.m.
- Where: The Academy, 2722 Benvenue Avenue, Berkeley
Activities and discussions are aimed to encourage collaboration and creative problem solving and will appeal to a wide range of students from first to eighth grades. Age appropriate puzzles and mathematical games will engage kids and help them to discover their mathematical aptitude. Fun prizes, snacks and free raffle tickets will be provided for all participants.
Register below as spaces are limited.
Please bring an adult to provide supervision of your children/students. Admission for kids is $10; supervising adults are free. If you can’t afford the fee, please contact us at hello@FirecrackerForum.org to waive it. Walk-ins are $15.
